How I Met Your Mother Lily/Robin - Lily's unrequited passion gives me many, many feelings. I'd love to see how they might get together, or if it was just a one-time thing. After all, Ted doesn't know everything...
Laverne and Shirley Laverne/Shirley, Laverne/Rhonda, Laverne/Terry, Laverne/Rosie - This is my favorite classic sitcom fandom; Laverne and Shirley have obvious chemistry and I'd like to see what life would've been like for them if instead of chasing boys they'd decided to chase one another. Terry and Laverne had tons of mutual athletic interests; maybe they could discover they're more than teammates? Rosie and Laverne are, in spite of Rosie's airs and Laverne's disgust, remarkably similar (Rosie is, in her own words, "A bimbo down to (her) soul"). Hatesex? Or maybe a realization that they like each other more than they let on? Laverne resents and appreciates the glamorous Rhonda. She has obvious interest in the starlet's sex life; what if Rhonda offered her lessons?
Love + Rockets - Maggie/Hopey, Hopey/Penny - Maggie and Hopey's long, difficult relationship is one of the many reasons I keep reading Love and Rockets. Take me into the past or put me into their future; give me a little moment canon missed or some beautiful new idea. Give me any little musical moments; I relate to Hopey's struggle bass playing so much, loving the music but frankly not being the best at it. I love the Lucha Libre stories in L&R and Rena is everything; what conflict does Maggie feel in being with Rena in light of the rivalry between Rena and her guardian Vicki? How about Maggie as a wrestler?
Les Miserables: Cosette/Eponine - Cosette and Eponine are so tragic in their own way; how does their relationship evolve as Cosette becomes the pampered child and Eponine the pauper? What if they'd met in society and not on Paris' streets? What if Cosette had joined the ABC and they'd met that way?
Oglaf -Grier the Lesbian Mercenary/Snow Queen - Grier and The Snow Queen have such a sweet and often tender interaction; I'd love to see what might happen if they chose to spend a winter together. If they can't make love, how do they connect? Or, on the opposite leaf - heck, give me the smuttiest smut you can think of! I love these two and love watching them be happy in canon, so any time they're happy in fic I'm extra-happy.
Xena: - Xena/Cleopatra, Xena/Gabrielle, Xena/Calisto -Cleopatra and Xena had a lovely unexplored flirtation at the conclusion of King of Assassins that's never capitalized on before Cleo's assassination in canon, and I'd love to see what you could come up with. Maybe Xena as Cleo's silent, justice-spreading guard?
There's so much lovely Gabby/Xena in the world - adding to it would only make me happier. Silly aus, happy or sad ficlets, series finale aus - anything!
Callisto and Xena are the ultimate rivals and yet they understand each other better than anyone (well almost anyone) in canon. Imagine them forming a deeper understanding earlier than they did. Imagine the beauty of fury meeting steel.
